COVID19

Please see below our guide on what we can do to help if you are due to stay with us.

The safety and wellbeing of our guests is our priority and we will take all necessary precautions to ensure their continued welfare. As with many businesses, we are actively monitoring the situation with regards to the outbreak of Covid-19 coronavirus and are reviewing and following the guidelines of the UK governments.

The advice from the health authorities has not changed, so our business is operating as normal and standard terms and conditions on bookings continue to apply.

If you are planning on visiting from an area that has been directly affected by the coronavirus AND if you are showing symptoms similar to those associated with the virus (for example fever, cough, breathlessness), we please politely ask that do not stay and instead call NHS 111 for further advice and instruction.

Please then contact heritagelodgerhyl@gmail.com regarding your booking.

For further information, please refer and adhere to the advice given by the UK governments.

We ask all our guests to observe high standards of personal hygiene whilst visiting Heritage Lodge. There are simple things you can do to help prevent the spread of the virus, including:

  • Covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze

  • Putting used tissues in the bin immediately

  • Washing your hands with soap and hot water regularly, and using hand sanitiser gel

  • Trying to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

  • Avoiding touching your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.

What happens if I need to cancel my holiday because I catch Coronavirus? We will refund or offer a change of dates.  Please note that there may be a slight decrease/increase in price if you choose to change dates.

What happens if I do not catch Coronavirus but have to cancel my holiday because I have to self-isolate? We will refund or offer a change of dates.  Please note that there may be a slight decrease/increase in price if you choose to change dates.

What happens if I am advised not to travel by a medical practitioner? We will refund or offer a change of dates.  Please note that there may be a slight decrease/increase in price if you choose to change dates.

What happens if I want to cancel because I am worried about catching Coronavirus?  We’d like to reassure you we’ve had no outbreaks of Coronavirus at Heritage Lodge; further, there are no government travel restrictions in place, as such, our normal terms and conditions apply, meaning that if you choose to cancel, a refund will only be offered on a sliding scale.  We are also happy to offer a change of dates, but there may be a slight increase/decrease in price if you choose to change dates.

Can you guarantee that Heritage Lodge has been appropriately cleaned? We cannot and do not guarantee that Heritage Lodge is free from infection, however, it is cleaned and maintained to a high standard. We would ask that guests wipe down surfaces ‘as they go’ and keep high hygiene standards to help us to maintain this.

During these uncertain times, bookings must be made in line with Government guidelines.  We will be keeping a close eye on the current regulations, but please be aware that there is a potential for amendments to bookings beyond our control.  Any cancellations due to COVID19 will be accepted and any money paid to us will be returned in full. A full PCR test result issued by an official test site will required for your refund to be approved.
